What is H.O.P.E.?
We are a Christian Based Bible Study helping individuals overcome addictive and destructive behavior. Our goal is to replace these behaviors with positive actions such as reading your bible and attending Church. We do not focus on the behavior, rather we focus on the ways to overcome the behavior and the deep underlying cause of the behavior, our sinful nature.
We meet on Thursdays at 7:00 pm. The meetings typically last until 8:30 pm.
We Meet in the Windsor Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
Anyone trying to overcome addictive or destructive behavior is welcome to attend the meetings.
An addiction in broad terms is any behavior that you have an unusually great interest in so that it controls your actions. Typically, this is thought to be to alcohol, drugs, pornography, eating or gambling as examples.
Destructive behavior could be described as a behavior that a person engages in that might not be addictive but is truly harmful to themselves and others. Examples of destructive behavior are gossiping, bitterness, complaining to excess.
